Law of Attraction stories of inspiration

I love true stories from people who have used the Law of Attraction to attract what they wanted (or sometimes what they did not because they weren’t using it consciously!). These people often start off as skeptics like me, and yet they ended up with irrefutable proof of the power of the Universe in reaping what they focused on. I just finished a great book of LOA tips and stories called Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction. I will say it is missing great tips on finding love so some time spent reading Sex and the Universe is definitely a worthwhile endeavor!

The book is part of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series and is a basic “how to” guide for the Law of Attraction coupled with some pretty intriguing anecdotes on a variety of experiences using LOA. Some of the writers stumbled upon the laws accidentally, some had been familiar for years but had just not considered using them for their current situation. Many of the stories are “last chance” stories…the writers had nothing to lose by trying the laws to heal their current situations. A great story by Amy Scott Grant called “The Day I Ran Out of Money” is one of the brilliant examples of how the universe provides, and has always, and always will!

Again, there is far more focus on money, business and career than love in the book, but it is still awe inspiring and should be a part of your Law of Attraction library! (You have one, right?)

Dream board (vision board) example…

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

I’ve spoken before about creating a dream board to help you manifest what you want in your life including your soul mate, utilizing the Law of Attraction and my ebook, Sex and the Universe. I found a great video (there are actually several examples on YouTube) of making one and thought you would enjoy!

A vision board is a very powerful thing. Pam, in the video, will talk about just being pulled towards certain images and not knowing why. Perhaps you see a photo of a man in argyle socks and you’ve never really felt anything about argyle socks but this photo does something to you. Cut it out! You are drawn there for a reason. Add powerful phrases and quotes as well. It’s all in the video and definitely worth your time!

Enjoy and let me know what you think below!

Living a life of joyful expectation

Friday, August 1st, 2008

Living a life of joyful expectation. Think about that. I found that phrase somewhere years ago and had it pinned up for a really long time. What are you expecting? If I asked you “what do you expect to happen to you today?” would it be good. Are you living in happy anticipation of love, money, health and all your heart desires, knowing it is on it’s way…or are you HOPING it is? The Law of Attraction wants you to be anticipating the best of everything…

Are you expecting it to be hard to find love because you are over 40, divorced and perhaps very afraid? Change your expectations and you will change your results. Are you expecting to be let down or do you wake up in the morning anticipating the miracles the Universe is ready to send your way? Do you track those mini-miracles in your gratitude journal each night. Each little success, each flirtatious moment, the glance from the gentleman at the grocery, the touch of a hand from the girl at the video store…all of these are signs you are putting out the right kind of energy.

I know it worked for me! Find out more in my ebook, Sex and the Universe.

Let the Universe handle it…

Friday, July 25th, 2008

I stumbled across a great post about giving the Universe a “task list” and I wanted to share it with you! The Law of Attraction, as I’ve discussed in Sex and the Universe, isn’t remotely mysterious. It’s in constant motion and is giving you the things you’ve asked for: either out right or by dwelling on them. Sometimes this is good (you have your dream board, you’ve feng-shui’d your bedroom in preparation for love)…and sometimes we aren’t conscious of the messages we are sending. This exercise is very helpful in letting the Universe know what you need help with.

When you are feeling overwhelmed or like things aren’t moving in the direction you want, make a list. The list should be of things you have to handle (and know how to) and things you are unclear on or need help with (the Universe’s list). When it comes to love your list might look like this:

ME

Paint bedroom

Post online profile

Get haircut

UNIVERSE

Help me become more outgoing

Find additional social activities where my potential soul mate is waiting

Deliver a source of funds to fix the broken air conditioner so my feng shui functions smoothly

It’s a great exercise because we often try to control every detail instead of requesting it from the Universe and then believing the answer will be delivered. Try this and let me know your results in the comments section below! You can find out more about attracting the love you deserve into your life here.
